September 2017

Thanks to Lactalis-Ak Gıda, I have completed the first 5 months of my language education here in France. During this 5-month period, I can say that I have experienced the kind of knowledge that can only be gained through years of dedication. When I came here, I didn’t know French. However, now I take pride in improving my French through the education I received at L’Université Catholique de l’Ouest, which has been providing French language education to foreign students since 1947. With the guidance of our school, I stayed with 2 different French families, which allowed me to improve my language skills and experience French culture firsthand, enabling me to learn quickly. On August 21st, I started the preparatory program for the master’s degree at Ecole Supérieure d’Agricultures (ESA). I am very pleased to be here, and I am grateful to Lactalis for providing such an opportunity to the younger generation.

December 2017

As part of the Real Taste of Engineering program sponsored by Ak Gıda, I have completed the first 8 months of my stay in France since April. During the first 5 months of this period, I received general and technical French language training, lived with 2 different French families, and had the opportunity to observe the French language, culture, and customs firsthand. In September, I started my 2-year master’s program at École Supérieure d’Agriculture. During the first 3 months here, I attended master’s courses under the titles of General Orientation, Engineering Computing/Informatics Tools, and Food Production alongside French students and other students sponsored by Lactalis from different countries such as Ireland, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Russia, the Czech Republic, Algeria, and Zambia. Last month, I spent a significant portion of my time at one of Lactalis’ production facilities in France, where I had the chance to apply the knowledge I gained in classes to practical work and experience the Lactalis company atmosphere firsthand. Until September 2018, I will work as part of the production team for Brie cheese, one of the most beloved and internationally traded cheeses produced under the President brand at this cheese production facility in France on a monthly basis.
